What's for dinner tonight?

The other day, after a week of having whatever we can find in the fridge for dinner, I decided to cook a traditional bulgarian lentil soup. Well, A.J. had a different plan, he was so whiny and wanted to be held all day long. So I grated a carrot with one hand, tried to add some spices while holding A.J. and he was sticking his hand in the salt box. I finally finished, had the pot with the lentil soup cooking on the stove, and I started to play with A.J. I forgot that I was cooking for a long time. The result was terrible - burned dinner. I managed to save some of it, some went in the trash and some, well was stuck on the bottom of my new pot. I didn't have any time to cook something else, so I served Hans my lentil soup with burned flavor. He just ate and was saying it's ok, not too bad....love is really blind sometimes:)

This is what I call love. My husband eats everything I cook too and sometimes I won’t like it for myself but he doesn’t mind it.
