Stephanie Meyers, can you tell me where my wife is?

Everyone that we know that is female recently has talked about the vampire books. It was debated at the family reunion and on the blogs. This last Monday, a friend finally let Iva borrow the first book. It is now Thursday night and she only has a few pages left in the second book. In her second language. Pretty impressive. I once read the Lion, Witch, and the Wardrobe in Bulgarian and it took me a quite a while. She is killing these books.

Of course I am happy for her and happy to see she is having a good time. There's nothing like finding a book that you can't put down. I remember when the sixth Harry Potter came out and I had a flight that day. As I entered the plane and walked down the aisle, over half of the passengers were reading the same book. I had a tough time not reading the last book when it first came out because it was only four days before two bar exams. Back to my point, I am glad she is having fun and I am sure that she looks forward to discussing the details with the female readers of this blog.

I had a feeling this would happen. Get her the third book (you already have the 4th) and just be done with it. As far as discussing the details with the female readers of this blog.... I'll have you know that men read this book too. Check out this blog post for a little male perspective: http://mormonhusbands.blogspot.com/2008/02/twilight-series-for-dummies-and-totally.html

Thanks for the update. As of 11:25AM today, she's already on page of 180 of book three. Not sure if I'll read it though...

I'm with Hans, I'm not much into books like that. Instead, I think a good 72 hour marathon series of General Conference would tide me over.

Iva - you've been tagged.

I like the conference marathon idea.

I knew Iva would get hooked! Wanna hear what you think of book 4. Imagine Ellis and Whitney and Max reading it! Then tell me what yout think!

Well, I should ask where is my sister? Recently our conversations are about vampires! But it is good to see my sister so much into a book like she used to be in the old old times:)

yes, I'm back:)
I do like the books, I read them so fast and now I need some time to think and decide if I really like the story or it's just the excitment to read a lot again ...long ago in high school I use to read 2-3 books at the same time...I hardly focus now well enough at one at the time....

I am happy you are reading the books, and I hope I helped you decide to read them. I really like them and I can’t wait for the movie come.
