Family Reunion

This is Hans covering for Iva again. She is not feeling well and neither am I, but we just got back from our family reunion in Island Park, Idaho and I wanted to post a few pix. Below is a pic of the Tetons that I took while driving from Jackson, WY to Island Park while returning from Denver (long story). We spent a day in Yellowstone and saw the major attractions: My grandpa was a land developer at Henry's Lake near West Yellowstone. While he sold our family cabin some years ago, we have a family tradition of carving our names into trees up in the mountains that only our family knows how to reach. We found family names in the aspen trees all the way back to 1977 and all family members carved their names once again: We also had a family night around the fire where my brother and sister decided to be funny and sing the blues.

Here are some other family pix:

Sorry you guys are still feeling sick. What's all this about driving to Denver?

I had a business trip in Denver that came up at the last minute so I drove from Idaho Falls to Jackson in the morning, flew to Denver for a client meeting, flew back to Jackson, and then drove up to Island Park to meet the family. Iva and my parents had left Idaho Falls during the day so we just met up in the evening. I think the exhaustion from traveling is contributing to not being able to get over sickness.

That looks like so much fun. We also had family reunion last week, but I haven’t posted about it yet.

Can you send me the picture of the broken window? That's a classic. Beau is working it off slowly. It will probably take him 10 years! Any news about the move?

Suz, you can click on the picture and it will blow it up larger. From there, you should be able to save it. I am not sure if that is the format that you want. If not, we can still email it to you. I'll also check to see if Iva took any other window pictures from Beau's pitching practice.

No word on the move, we are stilling following up with our client.

Hope you guys are feeling better soon. Maddy got sick as well and just talked to dad and he said mom was sick now!
It was fun to see you guys!

Keep us posted on the job and move.

Sounds like we go everyone sick, but it always happens everytime we all meet up. Christmas two years ago Maddy was sick, and then Iva and I caught it on the flight back to New Hampshire. We were both so sick in Chicago that we couldn't even walk to our next gate.

Since you suggest doing this every year, where do you suggest next year? Powell on a houseboat? Trailor trash on pontoons?

That was pretty fun!! I am glad you guys got to come!! It was to bad that you guys could not come on the rafting trip but, you had a good escuse. :)

Yes Max, I am glad that we could make it but by the sound of how much water was thrown, it is probably better that AJ didn't go. I wish we could have some video footage of my mom going head first into the water like a scube diver though.

Great post. HOpe Iva is feeling better. I have been sick {stomach} for three days, getting tired of tomato soup!

Hard to believe that just one week ago we were rafting, carving, and eating our hearts out.

I hope that AJ and I didn't pass on the sickness to you. It certainly sounds possible, but he and I had already been sick for a week by that time so I don't think that we were contagious anymore.
