Snow

When we moved to Austin everyone told us that the weather here is unpredictable. Last winter wasn't that bad and we had a ridiculously hot summer.

This year it has been very cold and we had snow this week. A.J. was so excited because it was his first time to see real snow but he told me that he needs a snowboard:).



The snow was wet and heavy but we had a great few white hours.

A.J. is growing into a little person. As hard as it sometimes is, it's also so much fun to be able to talk to him.



A.J. LOVES candy! Everytime we go to a store the first thing he wants is candy. Also we have to get some more on the way out. Some mornings when I ask him what he wants for breakfast he will say candy:) A few weeks ago we had this conversation:

A.J.: Mommy, candy.
I: We don't have any.
A.J.: Please?
I: Sorry, we really don't have candy.
A.J.: Bonbon? (bulgarian word for candy)
I: Sorry, we don't have bonbon either.
A.J.: Sugar? :):):)

Last week we made strawberry cupcakes. They were so delicious!

P.S.

So, it has been while since I posted on the blog. The truth is I have been going through some hard time and Lot's of stress. Things are getting better and I can't wait for the warm weather. When is sunny life is a lot more easier, right?

I promised some updates about the house hunting. We didn't find anything that we really liked to make another move worth, so for the next 6 months we are still going to live in the apartment.

Our house is up for short sale. It's sad but also it will be easy to finally move on. We will always have a special place in our hearts for Arizona. It was a happy place and happy time for us. Now we are ready for a new chapter in our lives, it's scary and exciting at the same time.

Hi everyone!
We hope that all of you had a wonderful Holiday-season!

We stayed at home this year and we had a good time with my sister. A.J. was so excited to have his grandparents and his aunt visiting so close.

We have been looking for a new place to move in the end of January. It has been hard since we haven't decide where we want to live, Austin or Houston. The next few weeks are going to be very stressful ones but we hope to find a place that we can feel more like a home and to stay there longer than a year. I'll keep you posted.

You know you lost it when...

1. you have been neglecting your blog for so long that you forgot the password to sign in.

2. you forgot to check the oven before you turned it on so a plastic spoon caught on fire and you ended up with apartment full of smoke and a very scared child.

3. you can't catch up with laundry and you wear a dressy shirt, Adidas shorts and striped knee high socks.

4. you are behind with Holiday Baking and you offer a second night in a row Christmas cookies for dinner.

5. your home is so messy that even your very patient and wonderful husband made a comment that we need to clean.

6. half of your Christmas decoration is still in boxes even you started to decorate Thanksgiving weekend.

7. you finally decided to fix all this mess but you end up with sore throat and runny nose.

On the bright site we had a wonderful visit from grandma and grandpa B. a week before. We had so much fun and we miss them and the rest of the family very much.

Last weekend we took A.J. to the park to take holiday pictures.
