Little updates

Totally neglecting the blog for the last two months.
Here is what we have been up to.
AJ and I celebrated Easter. The Easter bunny got him a Automoblox car and Marshmallow.




We did a lot of that(packing):


And we moved.
Since than we have been cleaning and unpacking and more cleaning and more unpacking. Still have Lot's to do and we have to buy more storage furniture, East Coast is very stingy on closet space.


We are taking breaks once in a while and we are exploring NYC. It's crazy, dirty city and I love it! We haven't went to any museums yet but we are excited for stuff like that:


AJ really likes Central Park but got scared on the slide so Hans had to help him:


AJ saw some Indian guys playing cricket and he has been talking about cricket ever since. He was lucky to find a cricket ball on a playground next to our house and it's his lucky charm even when playing soccer:



Today is Children's day. I wrote about it last year. It is a very humid day and rained in the afternoon so we will celebrate later this week.

PS. One day I'll learn how to take pictures. I promise.

confidence

Wednesday night, Church activity, A.J. not interested in crafts projects asked to play with the kids. We went to the GYM and he was trilled to find few boys playing basketball or backball as A.J. calls it. Few minutes later A.J. got an extra ball went under the basket and told everyone:" Watch it me, guys".

I wish I have his confidence.

Change of heart

After a little bit over a year messing up with Texas and Keeping Austin weird we are moving on...

Yap, remember 2 years ago when they first mention to us relocation to NJ and we so didn't want to move from Arizona and then Hans lost his job and we had to get a job in Austin just to survive...long story short, Hans got his old job back and this time around we are so happy to move to NJ and we are excited to be less than 30 miles away from NYC!

Snow

When we moved to Austin everyone told us that the weather here is unpredictable. Last winter wasn't that bad and we had a ridiculously hot summer.

This year it has been very cold and we had snow this week. A.J. was so excited because it was his first time to see real snow but he told me that he needs a snowboard:).



The snow was wet and heavy but we had a great few white hours.

A.J. is growing into a little person. As hard as it sometimes is, it's also so much fun to be able to talk to him.



A.J. LOVES candy! Everytime we go to a store the first thing he wants is candy. Also we have to get some more on the way out. Some mornings when I ask him what he wants for breakfast he will say candy:) A few weeks ago we had this conversation:

A.J.: Mommy, candy.
I: We don't have any.
A.J.: Please?
I: Sorry, we really don't have candy.
A.J.: Bonbon? (bulgarian word for candy)
I: Sorry, we don't have bonbon either.
A.J.: Sugar? :):):)

Last week we made strawberry cupcakes. They were so delicious!

P.S.

So, it has been while since I posted on the blog. The truth is I have been going through some hard time and Lot's of stress. Things are getting better and I can't wait for the warm weather. When is sunny life is a lot more easier, right?

I promised some updates about the house hunting. We didn't find anything that we really liked to make another move worth, so for the next 6 months we are still going to live in the apartment.

Our house is up for short sale. It's sad but also it will be easy to finally move on. We will always have a special place in our hearts for Arizona. It was a happy place and happy time for us. Now we are ready for a new chapter in our lives, it's scary and exciting at the same time.
